Streets Department

Streets Department: The Streets Department is responsible for street repairs, street sweeping, snow & ice removal, garbage & yard waste, sign maintenance, traffic signals & street light maintenance storm water & drainage maintenance. Garbage collection is contracted out through Lenorud Services.

 

Street Projects: 

 2024 Street reconstruction project:

 

• Double seal coat and crack filling using City of Mauston specs which will be provided to interested parties: E. Milwaukee St from Division to terminal, City shop parking areas at 1260 North Rd, Mill St from Lacrosse St to Water St, Maughs St from Water St to terminal.
• Pavement markings on City connecting highways from: Kennedy St to State and Union Sts, Division and Grayside Sts Roundabout, State St and Division St area.
