City of Mauston Parks

The Splash Pad and bathrooms are open Memorial Day through Labor Day.  Any events reserved before Memorial Day or after Labor Day are not guaranteed that the bathrooms or Splash Pad will be running, that is determined by the weather and the Parks Superindented. 
To reserve a park, print and complete the reservation form below and return to City Hall at 303 Mansion Street with the appropriate fee.  

Forms can be obtained at City Hall during regular business hours. All reservations are on a first come first serve basis. A reservation is not secured until the completed form and fee are received at City Hall. To access Park Reservation forms use the following link:

*Please Note: the Veteran's Memorial Park Concession Stand requires special arrangements to be made with The Mauston Athletic Booster Club. Contact Cindy Pfaff - Ph: 608-847-4876, Email: cpfaffers@gmail.com, or Randy Marschall - Ph: 608-847-6240, Email: marschall@frontier.com.
A group may either rent the facility for $100 a day, or forgo the rental fee by partnering with the Booster Club to utilize their equipment and supplies in exchange of splitting net proceeds 50/50.

Dog Park

Oakridge Park- Dog Park

This park has lots to offer your furry little family members! Located on Herriot Drive behind the Oakridge Apartments. Lots of space for your little and big ones to run. There is a separate area for those dogs that just don't play well with others. There is even a nice doggy water fountain.

Jones Park

This park is nestled right in Mauston perfect for the kids to walk to. Located on the corner of Prairie St. & Bluff St. off of East State St. This park has a picnic shelter, bathrooms, playground, and softball field w/dugouts.
Lions Park Vine Street

Lions Park- Vine Street

A beautiful park to bring the family for a barb-b-que!  It has the concession stand (no frig), beautiful barb-b-que grill, bathrooms. It  is a short walk to the splash pad, playground, tennis courts, sand volleyball and basketball courts.
Lions Park -Grayside

Lions Park-Grayside

Bring the kids young and old to Lions Park-Grayside! There is something for everyone!  It is located at the corner of Division St. & Grayside Ave. There is a picnic shelter, concession stand, bathrooms, basketball courts, playground, pickleball, sand volleyball and splash pad.

Marachowsky's Park

Marachowsky Park, also known as the Living Food Pantry, is situated on Liberty Street just off West State Street. Take some time to pick fruit from our 25 fruit trees, including apples, cherries, pears, and peaches. In 2024 we added blackberries and raspberries bushes as well. You can also enjoy a picnic shelter and a playground during your visit.
Kwanis Park

Mile Bluff/Kwanis Park

This a primitive park, with trails, bluff lookouts, frisbee golf, and picnic area. During the winter come with the family to sled down the hill.
Riverside Park

Riverside Park

If you want a leisure afternoon go to Riverside Park located on Mansion Street next to Mauston City Hall and along Lake Decorah. There you can put a boat in to do some fishing. No boat? No problem! Fish right off the fishing pier! This park has three shelters (West shelter near the boat launch, East Shelter near the playground and bathrooms and the Band Shelter in the middle.) Perfect park to just relax and sit on the benches that line the river walk and take in the beauty of the lake.

Veteran's Memorial Park

This park is located on Hwy 58 South/Division Street across from Hess Memorial Hospital, near the Fairgrounds & Grandstands. This park has two softball fields (north and south), dugouts, bathrooms, and concession stand.
