About the Municipal Court

The Municipal Court is responsible for non-criminal violations that happen in the above jurisdictions. This page has been designed to answer some questions you may have regarding procedures. Links have also been provided to assist you with other agencies that may be able to answer additional questions such as the Motor Vehicle Dept. and Circuit Court services. • The Mauston Area Municipal Court office hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

• Court is held the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month beginning at 9:00 a.m.

• Juvenile court is also held the 1^st and 3^rd Wednesdays of each month beginning at 10:30 a.m.

NOT GUILTY PLEA:
Not Guilty plea can be e-mailed (court@mauston.com), faxed (608-847-5023), mailed or dropped off at Mauston City Hall before your initial court date. 

RE-OPEN FEE:
A $25.00 fee may be assessed.
Re-Open form may be e-mailed, faxed, mailed or dropped off at Mauston City Hall.

Cash or Check, money order, (Credit & Debit Cards are now accepted at City Hall, there will be a convenience fee charged).
